One consistent challenge of every buying, merchandising and
procurement office, is the limited time available to Buyers,
Category Managers and Merchandise Directors to complete of the
activities associated with buying, merchandising and retailing.
We understand that day to day interaction between our buyer and
Chinese manufacturer is time consuming, complex an at times open
to misinterpretation due to significant cultural differences.
CMD makes it easy for our clients to purchase from China by
facilitating all aspects of the relationship, communication and
transaction between the client and our manufacturers. Our
services are best summarised as below within the three phases of
the procurement activity:

First Phase Information gathering, providing quotations, facilitating
negotiation, product selection, completion and exchange of all
necessary paperwork, provision of product samples and all other
matters associated with agreeing on products and price

Second Phase Ensuring all aspects of quality control are satisfied,
obtaining proof of accreditations and quality control processes.
Liaising with client and manufacturer on packaging design,
production and movement of print proofs, achieving production
proofs and ensuring production quality is in accordance with
specification
o
Third Phase
Providing buyers, category managers and procurement
managers sales support, ensuring orders are produced and shipped
on time, issues resolution, quality control, facilitation of
forecasting between client and manufacturer.
CMD can support the client’s needs for quality control and where
necessary will inspect goods prior to shipments.
